Veterans
CompTEC programs are designed to ensure that veterans get
the maximum benefit from their Montgomery GI Bill benefits.
The MCSE Boot Camp Certification program is particularly attractive to MGIB
eligible veterans. Military veterans have been flying in, staying from 7 – 21
days, and leaving with Microsoft and Cisco certifications that demonstrate they
are professionals, knowledgeable in their fields.
Microsoft Certifications and Cisco Certifications are measurably related to
increases in career competency and increased incomes.
MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE are all
prime computer career training paths for technology minded individuals.
Using their MGIB education benefits and
other available funding, veterans can complete thousands of dollars worth of
training while spending only a few dollars of their own.
Here's the details. MGIB will pay 60% of the cost of an accelerated ( boot
camp) learning program. MGIB pays for the cost of the exams. CompTEC gives
veterans a grant to cover the remaining 40% of the program costs. The Program
includes hotel, transportation to and from the school every day (it is a 10
minute shuttle ride), breakfast, lunch and snacks.
Your non covered non reimbursable expenses are your plane ticket and your
evening meals.
Please Note:
It typically takes the VA 3-6 months to issue the reimbursement. Some veterans
may need to arrange a short term loan or use a credit card to fund their
tuition. CompTEC works with Sallie Mae Corporation for students to finance there
education. (http://www.comptec.com/services-financial.aspx)
